WON’T TURN ON

When an electric stove won’t ignite, check if the stove is plugged in and that all circuit breakers are switched on. You should check the pilot light on gas models. If the appliance is plugged in and the pilot light is on, it means another part of the stove will have to be repaired. The cause of the problem could be the surface element, infinite switch, oven igniter or broil and bake element.

OVEN WILL NOT HEAT

A burner or stove that does not produce heat doesn’t do much good. An oven doesn’t heat if there’s a broken oven sensor or a malfunctioning bake element. Your burner will not turn on if an element breaks or the burner switch or the terminal block don’t work. We know how to troubleshoot and repair these issues in no more than 1-2 hours after an appointment begins.

TIMER PROBLEMS

It is reasonable to assume the control board on a stove or oven is broken when the timer or program settings aren’t working. OVEN TEMPERATURE IS VERY HOT

You always need a hot oven. Just not too hot! If the heat is too hot, it might be because of a problem with the thermostat or sensor. Our repairmen know how to diagnose the reason for the issue and repair it. Just be careful if troubleshooting this issue for fear of burns from the very high and totally unpredictable heat.

IGNITER WON’T LIGHT

A reoccurring stove problem is when an igniter glows but it does not light. The cause is sometimes from a broken electronic control, surface igniter, safety valve or temperature sensor. We determine whether we are able to repair these parts or if we need to replace the parts.

DOOR WILL NOT OPEN

New self-cleaning ovens can experience door problems. The door will not open after the cleaning cycle. We monitor the door closure, thermostat and seal to troubleshoot why the door will not open up and then complete the necessary repair so we can fix the issue.
